How Pomelos was born?

We are two friends coming from two opposite cultures.
One in the East while the other in the West.
One of us came from a culture that has a stronger emphasis for second-hand goods, vintage pieces, and products with enduring quality and character, while the other came from a culture where people emphasis on newness and fast fashion, where trends change rapidly and products are designed around shorter consumption cycles.

We miss a time when products were made to last, rather than being replaced every year or even every few months.

I miss that massage machine my grandpa purchased from a Japanese brand 20 years ago and it's still working perfectly fine today. If I spend the same amount of money purchasing the massage machine it would not be the same quality.

This is why Pomelos were born.
